Innerbreed is the electronic music project of British producer Jonny Poole, an independent artist whose relationship with electronic music stretches back to the early 2000s.

The Innerbreed name has been part of Jonny's musical identity since 2005, with an established history of producing, experimenting and sharing electronic music long before the current generation of streaming platforms and social media. His early work grew from a deep fascination with electronic production, sound design and the culture surrounding underground dance music.

Today, Innerbreed represents the next chapter of that journey.

Rather than being tied to a single genre, Innerbreed explores the more emotional side of electronic music combining melodic dance production, atmospheric textures, intimate vocals and late-night energy to create tracks that are designed to feel as much as they are heard.

The music can move from understated and melancholic to euphoric and immersive, drawing on the atmosphere of the club while retaining a strong sense of melody and emotion.

At the heart of Innerbreed is a simple idea:

electronic music doesn't have to choose between emotion and energy.

Every track is approached from the perspective of both producer and engineer  obsessing over the details of the sound, while keeping the bigger emotional picture in focus.

Innerbreed is an independent project, written and produced by Jonny Poole, with a growing catalogue of original material and new releases currently in development.

This is electronic music for the journey home, the last track of the night, the moments when the lights go down and everything feels a little different.

Innerbreed is the established artist name of Jonny Poole, who has used the name in connection with his animatronic engineering and music production since 2005.

There is currently another artist using the Innerbreed name within the drum & bass scene. The two artists are not affiliated or connected.

The Innerbreed presented on this website is the original project and musical identity of Jonny Poole.
